Got a little of a lot I've been working on! My muse is a fickle mistress, so what we end up with is a lot of slice of life. What started as "dumb fun little ideas to sketch out-" accidentally turned into finished scenes. Isklen Immigrants in the Midwest; While the majority of Isklen elves maintain their residence in their native isles of Isklendos, during the Isklen-American Trade Treaty of 1949 a fair portion of the population were invited to migrate into the (undeveloped) countryside. They were also "invited" to find work there, with many a brawny elf finding themselves as farmhands and cargo-hauling laborers. While most eventually carried on elsewhere after they found their States-legs and common tongue, some instead hunkered deeper into the hills, where the woods were none too different from the jungles of the isles. It is this event that lead to a number of Isklen picking up a country-baked twang in their english speaking, as they have a tendency to reflect the culture of an area they're living in. Buck was born to thrive in this biome, a proper wild man putting his Isklen beast handling skills to effective use. He's glad he's a solid huntsman, because he can't imagine himself in a regular job, and at least this one he can do with his beast-shifting orc husband. VERY romantic.Langley's Elixirs, NEW SHOP!!! Just up the alley and down the stairs;Every neighborhood could use a potion shop, which sounds so much better than "drugstore!" He's got a bottle of something for just about every occasion, it just so happens that those occasions are often of the strange or salacious variety. As the neighborhood's most ardent randy bisexual, of course Ceran is gonna do a few passes through there, see what fresh new bad decisions he can make. This one is mostly for the Nubs;I got all sorts of OCs of varying quality and caliber knocking around in the 'ol think-peanut. Sadly, there's a fair amount that I acknowledge aren't very whoreable like my fat tiddied bara boys, but! I still love them. I get to draw one every now and again as a treat! More characters, pseudo-NPC types that flesh out the setting of Palms Crossing. This is their certified public accountant and necromantic warlock: Doug. I know he's giving vampire but I think he's probably actually human? Just like, tapped into forbidden arcana and the like that makes him so shadowy and weird. He's usually quite cheery, but sometimes his desire to put people at ease around him is the very thing that makes him extra offputting.
