Isklen Immigrants in the Midwest;While the majority of Isklen elves maintain their residence in their native isles of Isklendos, during the Isklen-American Trade Treaty of 1949 a fair portion of the population were invited to migrate into the (undeveloped) countryside. They were also "invited" to find work there, with many a brawny elf finding themselves as farmhands and cargo-hauling laborers. While most eventually carried on elsewhere after they found their States-legs and common tongue, some instead hunkered deeper into the hills, where the woods were none too different from the jungles of the isles. It is this event that lead to a number of Isklen picking up a country-baked twang in their english speaking, as they have a tendency to reflect the culture of an area they're living in. Buck was born to thrive in this biome, a proper wild man putting his Isklen beast handling skills to effective use.
