Dorley 47. The final chapter of the fourth book! It’s planned out and I’m working on it, but as you might imagine, it’s one of those chapters that I need to get really right, because it sets things up for book five, so I’m going to be working on it for a bit yet.
We’re going to put up the release date for The Catch. I’ve given the text a proper edit and we have a cool cover and everything. We have a couple of little bows to tie and then we’re going to launch it. Soon!
Also probably more Man-Machine Interface. I have a couple chapters I’ve been playing with when I’m too tired to write Dorley. They might go up later tonight—for certain definitions of ‘later’ and ‘tonight’—but we’ll see. I might well finish this cuppa tea and then fall immediately asleep.
The status of The Sisters of Dorley as a book series that you can buy and stuff is still up in the air. You may know that the publisher I was working with, Neem Tree, was bought out by a bigger publisher that then quite quickly went bankrupt. We’re working on it. News will be here and on my Bluesky account when I have some to give. I’m so sorry the preorders for Secrets of Dorley Hall have yet to work out; it’s been out of my hands and it sucks.
I’m travelling a little in October, but it oughtn’t affect things too much unless I manage to catch The Lurgy while I’m outside.
As ever, thank you all for sticking with me as my erratic release schedule remains... erratic.
