It is time for a wild turn in the story of the elf princess. The charming fairy tale from the previous week transforms into something completely different.
Following the events of last week, I tried to visualize the insides of a huge living plant—its stomach, or something like that. Not as easy a task as it might seem, if you want it to look cool.
Working with bits and pieces of models I had at hand, the results turned out to be a lot more dark, creepy, and evil-looking than intended. A black mess of alien flesh and tendrils that would better fit inside 'Eldritch Vacation II' than the current movie.
After some heavy considerations, I decided to roll with it, only to face another dilemma.
Do I keep the green light that fits the plant theme but makes the area look like it came from Aliens horror, or adopt a softer white/pink light that makes human (elf in this case) skin look much nicer but loses the plant theme?
So, while I ponder this issue, I will ask you guys the same questions. Have a look at the images in this post, then vote for one of the options below, and I will take your opinion onboard. The poll will run for six days.
