Morning everyone! We are BACK! We’re fancy and all, with a new name and a new look for our weekly updates.
First of all, let me thank you all for the feedback, the support, and the love I got after episode 4 dropped. Despite the small hiccup with saves from Patreon (I dream of a release with no bugs), so many of you reached out, whether on Discord or here, and that was really nice.
Some of you have asked me about pathing, LIs that might feel more pushed than others, and a bunch of other stuff. The thing is, every time I try to explain my vision, I end up yapping too much, people get confused, and then it comes back to bite me.
But I saw someone say something I really resonated with, so I’m gonna put it here: I have a story and a vision for Law School, and I’m sticking to it. I’d rather make something I genuinely love than try to please everyone. So if something’s done a certain way, it’s on purpose, and because I truly think it’s the best choice. That’s the memo from now on.
Now, we’re back in development, or rather, we’ve been back for over 10 days now. Episode 4 was the necessary stepping stone for this segment of the story in Law School, and I’m excited to be working on episode 5.
I’m back to my routine of writing and creating scenes, and that feels good. Episode 5 will be the final nail in the coffin for many LI paths, and I’m excited because the sheer number of dialogue variations is slowly killing me. After this episode, we’ll finally be properly en route to the vision I have for each and every LI path and how their development unfolds.
Productivity so far has been pretty great. There’s not much to say, honestly, apart from the fact that this episode is shaping up to be bigger than episode 4.
So, let’s have a look at the numbers:

Aside from the animation numbers, this is a solid start. I’ve also set weekly goals for this episode, because I really want to stick to the 6-month schedule I’ve got going. It won’t be easy, but I’ll do my best!
