DESCRIPTION

Hello everyone,

Last week was kind of ground breaking.

Honestly, it started like any other week: crippling hemorrhoids from sitting 30 hours a day working, and an intense motivation to get this first LEWD done. Like I mentioned last week, I finally hit the animation part of the work.

If you don’t know Puggy, he’s an animator who’s worked on a bunch of games: Chasing Sunsets, The Seven Realms, Hellcat Lounge, and more recently Projekt Passion from my friend Lem Lem. Well, Monday night around 11pm, I was starting my second animation when Puggy dropped into VC and basically told me I was so trash and needed to give up on animations. Not at all actually he was really nice, but you get the idea. In reality, he gave me some insanely valuable insights and completely revamped how I approach animation, showing me how he does it and explaining the proper way to 're-create' a movement.

I got tutored. I listened. I cried. I vomited. But I adapted.

I wish I could properly explain how big of an improvement I’ve made in the last 6 days, but it wouldn’t even do it justice. And unfortunately, I can’t share the animations without spoiling the LEWD scene, so you’ll have to take my word for it. It’s my best work so far, and I’m pretty sure I’m only going to keep improving. It seriously feels like I was driving with the handbrake on, and Puggy finally put it down.

It was stressful at first because I went from 2 to 6 hours per animation depending on complexity, to roughly one animation per day. And yeah, I absolutely felt like I was wasting time. But I’m getting more comfortable and it shows. Not being scared to tackle the craziest movements and more complex loops, because I feel better equipped now, makes a huge difference for the scene.

Anyway, enough rambling about Puggzer. Let’s talk numbers:

Static renders: 855Animations: 21Story content: 14 scenes written (10,494 words)

As you can see, I’m just shy of an additional 100 renders since last week, but I brought in 18 extra animations. Some were even made with the help of Marvelous Designer to add realism to clothing movement, so I’m really happy with the direction we’re heading.

This LEWD scene isn’t over yet. It’s the biggest and most complex one in this episode for reasons I can’t disclose. I should be done with it this week, which puts total time spent at around two weeks. I should be able to bring that number down with the next LEWD scenes, which is a huge relief considering I’ve got five more planned, and maybe a sixth.

But yeah, these animations, guys? Pardon my French, but they’re fuck*ng brilliant. I’m genuinely excited to share them with you.

Anyway, I’m going to keep working. Depending on my output, I might also tackle the second LEWD of this episode before I leave for a few days, but I doubt I’ll finish it. Either way, rest assured the work is smooth and the quality is at an all time high.

I’m going to sleep now before heading into my 34 hour shift tomorrow.

Have a great week, and catch you later.
