It's been a bit, but like I said in my last post, it's time for a poll on how the next update for Wasteline will be handled! I'll be explaining each of the options below, but I also want to just make it clear that this update will (at least initially) be exclusive to Patreon, unlike last time, which was a completely free release.
(If you have no idea what I'm talking about, Wasteline is the game that I, Lupus Gamer, and bun worked on for the Weight Gaming game jam last year - here's the link if you'd like to check it out)
So, regarding the poll options, I want to at least add the true ending in the next update, but outside of that I'm open to do whatever you all want.
For the first option, the smallest amount of resources will be invested, pretty much only amounting to the true ending being added (and maybe cleaning up the sewer area).
The second option is a good bit more extensive, with the sewer area being given a proper amount of content, among other potential features like adding weight gain for Willow.
Finally, the last option is for a proper remake of the game. New content would be added like with the second option, but I would also invest resources into getting a bunch of new art for the game. I'm probably the most partial to this option personally since I think it would be fun to do, but if you all are largely against it then I'd rather not work on something that no one is really asking for.
EDIT FOR CLARIFICATION - The "remaster" option would include as much content as the second option, just with the additional stipulation of having all of the art replaced.
And that's all for the poll! I'm interested to see if you all are invested in seeing a proper update for the game, but if not, then that's alright. At the very least, the true ending will be added to the game soon enough, since it's important to me to add at least that much.
