Hey everybody.
I wanted this next big video out in November but it's slipping to December.
On the bright side, it isn't far off and should be out soon.
It will probably clock in at about 50 minutes. It's a retrospective on an older series - one that I think people will be excited to hear my take on, since it's kind of in my field of expertise, but I haven't touched on it yet.
Considering the scope of the video and that I've only been working on it this month, I've actually made very good progress on it. Playing through multiple games, writing the script, recording the script and getting the editing to this stage; but it always feels like I haven't quite made the cut when I miss that end of the month mark.
In the mean time I put up a Backlog with Brit on the weirdo PS2 action game Bujingai where I play the first 50 minutes or so. Available to all backers here.

I also wanna do a recommendation video on another NES game I have in mind. That shouldn't take too long to do, but you'll be seeing it after the big video mentioned above.
Before the next main video goes up I'm gonna do a vote for Legend Backers. Voters in the last one will know we still haven't gotten the least requested pick from that old poll, but while that video in question hangs in limbo, I think it's best to move on and just get a new one out to Legend Backers with a few key choices.
I'll be honest, I haven't done one in so long I'm a little nervous about leaving what I'm making up to others, but I think I owe you all another round of picks.
I will say, that if I do a vote, I'm not sure if RE5 will be on there. I started Road to the Rocket Launcher in 2017, believe it or not. My style and approach to things has changed so much since then, so I don't have the same enthusiasm for that video series anymore. I'm not saying I won't do it, or even that I have nothing to say on the game (I do), but I don't know if I'm feeling it at the moment. I'll have to think on it.

Oh crap, and then there's the Dino Crisis 3 patreon playthrough... forgot about that...
Either way, my focus now is on that Retrospective video, after that we can reconvene and discuss the path ahead going into 2025 and beyond.
Let me know your thoughts.
