Now the long kept secret is out: I am a low key Miley Cyrus fan. XD I have always loved her voice. And her new Single "Malibu" gives me all those warm summer vibes.
I also liked the colors in the video a lot, so I decided to use it as an inspiration for a Photoshop drawing practice. I wanted to keep it stylized, but still transfer the same warmth. I think it worked out quite well.
In this video you can see how I did it. But there will be even more: my Patrons will get a longer tutorial video with voiceover explanations soon. And moooore: for 10$ Patrons I will provide the .PSD with layers, the brushes and the textures I used!
Fun fact: When I was in Malibu, the sky was grey and it rained!
