Howdy gang,
Couple things I wanted to post about, one of which has to do with the Townie tier, and the other has to do with some upcoming content.
Tl;dr: I wanna make Townie bimonthly. I've also been working on actual comics; see below for synopses and thoughts.
First off, the Townie tier has been a huge success. More successful than I can handle, honestly. Peaking behind the curtain, my ability to get 10 pics done monthly will always depend on 1. the number of coms I have on my plate, and 2. my drive to actually draw stuff, which really depends on me just kinda following whatever I'm interested in at the moment. More on that in a minute, but it's where I draw my energy to do this from. Sometimes the requests tap into that, and that's great, but if I'm going to put the choice to you guys obviously it's not always going to line up with whatever weird muse I have in my head at any given time.
I have two options to make it more sustainable for me: the first, switch it to a bimonthly listing-- so I will be making an April post for this past month, and then starting next month the Tier would be alternating so I'd have longer to work on the 10 requests. The second, decrease the number of slots available and increase the price, mostly to try to encourage people to roll through and let others move in to have their requests.
I'm leaning towards the first option because it's a minimal change, and functionally works the same as the second without any of the complications of changing pricing and changing subscriptions. The only downside is that it requires a bit more patience/commitment on your guys' end. But if anyone has a preference, or another idea, please pitch it.
Second, and this one is more for everyone: I have a couple pieces of comics that I want to turn into something more involved than my normal one-off pics. The first involves Azula putting Mai in a very compromising position that escalates rapidly. The second is a comic about Velma involving a reawakened Egyptian God, some mind control, and 6000 years of pent up feelings.
I'm not quite sure how to handle them currently, I'm torn between posting the individual pics here as they're done or posting it page by page. When they're completed, I thought I might put them up as a stand-alone thing somewhere. If you guys have any suggestions or comments about that, lemme know.
