Cora stands in a large wooden tub, steam hangs in the air. His eyes are wide and he's being attended to by two large women whose faces can't be seen (but it's Luci and Esther). Luci is trimming Cora's newly purple hair into a sort of pixie cut with blunt bangs while Esther scrubs under Cora's arm with a sponge.
The days passed by agonizingly slowly. I'd sleep, eat, ropes, train, repeat.
I thought about Her every second of it. At a certain point, I wondered if maybe she'd forgotten about me.
But then, one morning I was pulled out of bed and thrown in a warm bath. They washed me way more aggressively than usual. Cleaning my nails, scrubbing me down, and even dying and trimming my hair. A complete makeover! I felt so pampered!
Well, no, not pampered...
