Recently I've been thinking about the world they inhabit a bit more and I had the idea to deepen it by adding a religion that kokio's people believe in, similar to Polynesian deities but simplified, wether they're actually real or not is up to interpretation.
Oki-meh is the main god of the trifecta, his mountain head that pierces the halo of clouds signifies his domain over the skies as well as the earth, he cares for and guides all its living creatures, Fara-nah is the god of energy and fire, it gave people the elements, strength and power to manipulate them and lastly Nao-naee the god of water and spirits, represents birth, death and domains the afterlife (I thought making the underworld god linked to water instead of fire or sky was inspired).
They'd usually be depicted kind of like sitting on a scale, with Oki-meh in the center holding Fara-nah and Nao-naee on each hand.
Oki fathers Fara and Nao, he keeps everything in perfect balance, they're often reffered to as his two daughters that he birthed himself.
Nao-naee lacks a mouth, representative of the dead not speaking or needing to feed. Also they both bear a flower as their symbol, Nao's symbol is a closed bud, symbolizing new beginnings, uncertainty and possibility, Fara's flower is in full bloom with an enlarged pistil, symbolizing, passion, vigor and fleetingness, the yonic and phallic imagery is very intentional.
