Future of my Patreon

Hey everyone, I just wanted to update ya'll and leave a sort of diary entry update on what's been going on and how it's going to affect my art and my socials going forward, it's gonna get a bit more personal than I usually do online so bear with me.

So sometime late March to early April I was dealing with some slightly stressful life stuff, some very inconvenient home renovations and a bit of a health scare that led to my first ever minor surgery, it turned out it was nothing to be concerned about but it was still pretty stressful, still no need to worry in that regard.

After it was all over and done I suddenly had a massive decline in my mental health, the whole month of April was really really rough for me, I'm doing a lot better now so please don't worry, I am actively working every day to get myself to a better place mentally.

So what's all this to say? Well, I'm going to be pausing payment processing for the foreseeable future here. It wasn't an easy decision to make but I think it's what will benefit me the most in the long run. For how long, I'm not sure yet, I've been thinking maybe taking the upcoming summer months off but the real answer is probably just whenever I feel ready to come back. Art is very dear to my heart and I don't want to ever stop doing it, I just need to step away from the hussle of making it a career for a bit, I suppose.

So please don't worry! I'm sure this is not the end, I'll still be catching up on posting my backlog on my socials like bluesky, if you haven't found me there yet, you can do it at ventesnsfw.bsky.social I'll also be posting new doodles and sketches there occasionally!

Lastly, I'd like to sincerely thank all of you, from the people who just donated a small amount for a short period, to the ones that have been here supporting me for years, thank you for real, I really mean it when I say that I never thought I'd make it anywhere near this far and without you it never would have been anything! So yeah, I'll see ya'll soon!
