I hope everyone by now has listened to and enjoyed "Grasshoppers" (part one). I'm aiming to finish the series early next year. I had planned the continuation of the "Redemption Through Sin" series this week, but alas I caught Covid and my voice is just totally shredded right now. This also meant cancelling a podcast guest appearance scheduled for this weekend on the Stanley Kubrick Film Barry Lyndon. It's a brilliant film and I may find myself working my ideas about it into FoS in the near future. At any rate, once I kick this illness, expect the last three commentary episodes in short order. I'm also planning a reading and commentary on Virgil's Fourth Eclogue, which I've already alluded to. Finally, I have an interview episode with a surprise guest scheduled for mid-November, which will deal with the connections between the Christian Anarchist thinker Jacques Ellul's concepts of "Technique" and "The Technological Society," Cormac McCarthy's novel Blood Meridian (not the only McCarthy-related episode I have planned), and the idea of The City.
