After twenty-nine years, the Wars of Conquest had finally ended, ushering in the beginning of the new Imperial Peace. From the Forging of the Empire in 0 IC/126 AD (25 AC) to the date of writing in 128 IC/254 AD (153 AC), six rulers have held the Iron Throne of Westeros, becoming renowned across the Known World as the Dragon Emperors.
As the Wars of Conquest have been expounded upon in many detailed texts, this volume shall not repeat them and instead focus on the reigns of the six emperors: Aegon I, Aerion I, Aegon II, Aerion II, Daemon I, and Aegon III...
