Hello everyone, I gave myself a bit more time to write the devlog because previous updates dropped late and I genuinely didn't have anything to say, things gotta happen first before I can talk about it.
So, how's Dylan's N5? We're 80% done, but I've been hitting a few writer blocks on the way. This means you'll be seeing this early access in the first week of April instead of the usual delivery time.
It takes a bit more than planned because I wish to avoid making his character writing feel too edgy. That'd be a disservice to who he is.
To make this wait a little sweeter, I'll show you guys both finished sprites that have been teased the past few months.
This is Simon, I don't remember if I mentioned his name before, but the story sure did. He's an hyguana, what kind of implications this knowledge adds? That's not for me to spell it out.
All you need to know is that he's hot and we've been exploring more uncommon eye/sclera combinations. Yellow sclera might be hot, but why stop there? You can do MORE.
Cerberus, in the meantime, received his well deserved sprite upgrade. Now you can easily consider him three doggos in a trench coat.
He's also the secondary reason of my slow down, I worry it might be difficult to make all three heads engaging at the same time, but this is just filler noise, final reception is always up to the readers.
Lastly, discussing the new established roadmap.
After Dylan 5 drops, April will be a low activity month, I'll give myself the opportunity to fix the remaining N2s that need serious help. So QoL stuff.
I think it's the best option so that we can mentally and physically prepare for May Wolf.
Technically, yeah, there will be no MC updates for the next two months? Sorry about that. We've been working constantly nonstop on the game, it'll do us some good to detox for a bit.
Depending on progress I might resume earlier? Depends on how it goes and I'll keep everyone updated on that.
We'll be doing Russell 5, Patrice/Liam 5. I didn't decide the order for the last two since they're very connected. I might do Liam 5 first, we'll see.
