Everyone knows you'll become trapped in the Hollows if you stay around too long. That's exactly what happened as Nicole failed to reach the portal with Billy and Anby, as they were attacked by ethereals. It was a simple mission to retrieve some treasure, but then the ethereals came and were super aggressive!
After being stranded, Nicole fought off the enemies and started seeking a new exit, but she has been in the Hollows too long. Things started shifting and shrinking, as Nicole Stretched and widened. Hours later, Belle's Bangboo comes back into the area to find Nicole. As the Bangboo looks atop the building, something rises up to the building with speed. Soon after, Belle is greeted by 2 mounds with a familiar pattern, resembling Nicole's shirt! A thunderous giggle is heard. "Fufufu, Negotiations have changed". Nicole stood there feeling empowered, towering over building. One could only imagine the horrors that would occur if she outgrew the Hollow and made it into the real world.
