For the next early access version, the goal has been to include the first iteration of the dragon creator and the new physics based dragon, among other things, making it a pretty huge update with a lot of moving parts that are added all at once. An idea I've had is to instead first release a separate build with just the dragon creator as a standalone, to get it out to players much earlier than would be possible if it was part of the bigger early access update. This standalone creator would be just the dragon creator part, plus some tools for posing dragons for screenshots etc, but without the physics based model, movement and other gameplay aspects that will take time to add. It would remain as a separate download on the Itch page until the main version with all the additional things is ready. The benefit of this approach is that you get something tangible to try out long before the main version is ready, and it's the kind of feature that is enjoyable even as a standalone. The potential downside is that the main version may take longer to get out the door since the dragon creator will need to be maintained.
