I never talked about this but but actually that isn't anything unusual since Sweetwater Ranch isn't called a ranch without a reason and Loganns aside of being a racer family, they do have a small stable.
While Kurt's in a relationship with Leni, he will be taking her to his family ranch in Tennessee and horse rides will be one of their favourite ways of spending time at Kurt's home.
