i considered if the BE was going to have any gender changes on the character, but for this one i think it's more interesting if it's up to the reader. what i care the most about this transformation is creating the sense that it's not immediate, that it's a bit like the way quadrupeds sit to feed their children, and that it's meant to be a beautiful transformation<3
don't get me wrong, i love seeing someone turn into a horrible abomination, but sometimes i yearn to see someone turning into a beautiful creature<3 supernaturally so! i find the idea of losing humanity on the 'blessed' axis just as compelling as the 'corrupted' one, in a way they can be two sides of the same coin, to me.
