As I’m writing this all the Steam Machine news is dropping and I’m so curious to start watching all the breakdowns. Do I want one? I think only as much as I like cool and novel video game devices, but it’s sadly too expensive without a dedicated need. I’m generally happy with my Artemis/Apollo/Moonlight streaming setup. I will probably build (repurpose) a PC with SteamOS at some point, though as I just think it’s cool. Very curious if the price goes down on these if the market sorts itself out.
This week. Brad checked in with us this morning and Alex and I will be holding things down for the week while he spends time with his family. We’ll be officially off next week, and Brad was scheduled to be off the week after, so we wish him and his family the best in the coming weeks.
Alex will be joining Will and me to check out some of the co-op demos lingering around at the end of the Next Fest. There’s some Heave Ho 2 in there, so I’m hoping Alex doesn’t drive over here and murder me. On Tuesday, Abby is back to join us for Road to Empress Part 02! The road continues but will it end? Let’s find out! On Friday, we’ll have a Patron’s Choice, so watch for a poll going up in the near future on the Patreon.
Over in the Wonderful World of Podcasts we have a bit of a break with The Watchcast. We’ll be pausing the Star Trek watching until Brad returns, but Alex and I might fill in a recording if we can make the scheduling work out. We’ve got the Ramblecast, and The Podcast, along with a Patron Q&A for this week, so keep an eye out for those.
Alright, time to definitely-most-certainly-probably-absolutely-maybe-not put myself on the Steam Machine reservation list and instead, get ready to stream some multiplayer games.
