DESCRIPTION

Okay.

I was sick for about a week, but I've recovered and I'm back to work.

There are some news about modifications, skills and balance.

So, about the skill trees and the Yuna tree - you can now pay to respect all skills.

That means if you upgraded a skill and changed your mind, or the game became harder and you want to invest into different skills or just experiment, you can now simply press the Respect button and reset your skills. The same applies to the Yuna tree.I've also made a better and clear description for every perk as I did for items - you can see it on the screenshots below.

I've added two new skills to the Survival tree:

A set of perks that reduce fatigue.

A Ghoul skill - increases the threshold at which Judi dies. In other words, if Judi has negative HP, she will only die once her HP drops below the allowed incubation threshold.

I've rewritten the modification/mutation system. It's still in progress, but already about 90% complete. What's left is mostly creating textures and baking normals, which is more of a creative process.

The Yuna leveling system is now different.

The old system literally stopped working properly in later stages because you could fill the Yuna bar several times within 5 minutes and upgrade the entire Yuna tree almost instantly.

Now it's more balanced depending on progression stage. It will be easier to upgrade the tree in early stages when Yuna is rare or just starting to appear, and also manageable in later stages when Yuna becomes abundant, but progression overall is now much smoother.

The modification/mutation system now works as follows, based on a suggestion I received:

To get a modification you need to progress any branch first in Yuna skill tree to unlock a socket. Then you can choose any part to develop modification for it in the socket.

For example you went for regeneration/hp branch and you lack speed - you can choose a leg speed mod to compensate, install a heart regeneration mod to further increase your tankiness or something completely different.

After selecting a mod, it can be upgraded up to 8 levels using Yuna.

For now, this system feels more complete than before, and at the very least, mods should no longer disappear due to bugs, which used to happen earlier.I think part of the planned content won't make it into this update.

This month I was basically knocked out of development because of some really stupid reasons - like repair work at my village that left me without electricity, getting sick for a week, and a bunch of smaller issues on top of that.

So I'll try to finish the most important things and release the update. There is no exact release date yet, but it should be soon.

Some of the planned content will simply be moved to the next update.

That's pretty much how things are for now.
