In the second stage, the slime becomes more aggressive, feeding more of itself into its tentacles and further enveloping the victim.
The speed of capture accelerates, as at this point most victims begin to struggle and fight.
The slime has evolved to instantly target the victim's vocal cords to deafen their calls of alarm. It uses the element of surprise to force itself into the adventurer's mouth, pooling itself around their tongue and cheeks.
At the same time, it aims for the hands and fingers to prevent the victim from freeing themselves from its grasp.
Its ability to morph and shift its shape has given it a reputation for its flexibility and its ability to quickly sedate its victim by entering all their crevices.
