Summer time saga and my game has trojan virus?
DESCRIPTION

Recently, a few players reported that some antivirus software (like Jiangmin or MaxSecure) flagged the .exe game file as a trojan. I want to take a moment to explain clearly and transparently:

1. About the origin of the game:

The game is developed using Ren'Py — a widely used open-source engine for visual novels. I downloaded Ren'Py directly from its official website renpy.org, which is completely safe and trustworthy.

2. Why the virus alert happened:

When I packaged the game into an .exe file, the process used a tool called pyinstaller. Some antivirus programs (especially lesser-known or overly sensitive ones) often throw false positives because they can't differentiate between real apps and malicious software that use similar packaging techniques.

70 out of 72 antivirus engines confirmed the file is completely safe, including big names like Kaspersky, Microsoft, ESET, Avast, and more.

3. Did I add any malicious code?

Absolutely not. I did not include any viruses or harmful code in the game. Everything is just story and gameplay content. But if you're still concerned, feel free to scan the file using any trusted antivirus software — or wait for the upcoming update where I’ll rebuild and optimize the file to avoid these warnings.

4. My promise to you:

I always put your safety and trust first. I’m truly sorry for the confusion and concern this has caused. I’m already working on a cleaner build to prevent these false alarms in the future.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support!
