EDIT: Had it brought to my attention that I'd actually already named Vincent's brother "Jason" earlier in the story. I've been screwing up a lot names lately and personally I chalk it up to my slow update schedule meaning I can casually mention a side character once and then have it be literal years before they come up again. But remember, the next time you hear someone say that porn rots your brain? You should still argue against them even though I've proven them right.
I consider Switch and Halver to be both be effective in the role of mentor/amateur psychologist to their respective charges. But I figure they both have very different strengths and weaknesses to their teaching styles. Halver's weakness is that he gets too emotionally invested. Switch's weakness is her temper.
To me it makes sense that a queen would naturally expect people to do as she says, (even when not addressing her own subjects) and get angry when her advice is ignored. Throw in disaster striking because her advice was ignored and her majesty has to work extra hard to restrain a hissy fit.
