Hello hello, Bob here!this is a rather unusual post but I'll write regardless, even though I feel kind of bad about it and I don't know why exactly. I'm currently doing a donation pool on PP for my sweet friend Farah in G4z4. DO NOT, under all circumstances, feel pressured to donate! We are already grateful you support us on patreon in these trying times (we can barely make ends meet ourselves and know how hard it is these days), so don't feel bad if you can't give anything on that matter. (I mean it)How it started: I reached out to Farah a few months ago on my own when she was asking for a new e-sim under an account I follow, and I had plenty to spare. Since that we talked a lot. Farah is 20 and a sweetheart of a girl that liked to draw, but is now trying to support her whole family. We already managed to buy them a new tent and a mattress for her and her mother. We videocall when signal is strong enough and every day she asks me if we are okay, healthy and are eating enough. Winter is coming to G4z4, but international help is still not on the ground. So I collect again money for winter clothing and blankets. Prices are incredibly high for the most pathetic things in life (for example, the tent prices went up from 600$ to 1.5k in the last months, and people try to make money out of everything) so I try go get as much help as possible.Update 20.10.As Israel bombed the refugee camp last night, Farahs tent was completely destroyed. While she is fine, her father and brother suffered injuries and are now in the hospital. Transparency: Since donating directly to individuals is always a gamble (bc you never know if some opportunist sits behind the other end), you have to trust me who trusts in Farah being real and not a weird deep fake I managed to pick up myself on the internet. But in these days you never know 100% until you meet a person in RL and I am not mad in the slightest if you have doubts and decide not to. There is also no donation recipe since I am not an official NGO who can give you some. So no tax relief on my side. The PP account I linked shows my RL name, thats why I chose to ask for help here, and in other private places I feel safe.
