EN: Hello, it's Bob!While we are in the planning phase of the last two volumes of Remembering Gale, I also have a bit of time to finally do some needed studies. I'm currently motivated to get into gouache, because drawing cool backgrounds was always my dream to do more cool illustrations.Gouache is a bitch, but I still like it more than watercolour. I have a few more studies, but I'm never sure what to share here, since not everything is comic related. This one is though. The first two pictures are brainstorming until I decided for a composition. the 3rd is a quicker gouache study in my shitty not-made-for-gouache-but-who-gives-a-fuck-Sketchbook. I figured out I need to learn a few more things to make this work. For example this picture focusses heavyily on clouds and stone and grass, so I really need to make more studies for clouds and stone and grass with gouache before I will try to start the final illustrations. DE: HALLO HIER IST BOB!Während wir gerade in der Planungsphase der letzten zwei Bände von Remembering Gale stecken habe ich ein bisschen Zeit, ein paar (dringend benötigte) Studien zu machen. Ich bin derzeit sehr motiviert mit Gouache zu arbeiten, weil ich schon immer coole Backgrounds können wollte (für coole Illustrationen und so).Gouache ist schrecklich, aber ich mags trotzdem mehr als Aquarell. Ich hab noch ein paar mehr Studien gemacht, aber ich bin gar nicht sicher, ob die jemanden interessieren. Wie mit allem, was nicht zum Comic gehört, frage ich mich eher dreimal, ob sie hier platz haben.DIESE Illu hat aber bezug, deswegen gibts sie jetzt!Die ersten beiden Bilder sind Brainstorming bis ich mich für eine Komposition entschieden habe. Das dritte ist eine etwas schnellere Gouache Studie für die Grundstimmung in mein AbsolutnichtfürGouachemalereigeeignetes-Skizzenbuch. Da hab ich auch gesehen, für was ich noch mehr Studien machen muss. Dieses Bild hat im Schwerpunkt Wolken und Beton/Stein und Gras, also muss ich dafür erstmal studien machen, bevor ich mich ans richtige Bild setze.
