Earth shattering noise gave way to an intense silence as General Petrova stood over the ruins of downtown. Her sudden growth had levelled most of the central area of the city, as buildings were crushed under her immense body, or merely toppled by the earth shattering quakes caused by her movements. Looking upwards, survivors would see her body dissolving into the upper atmosphere as jets buzzed around her shooting missile after missile against her impenetrable skin. She was enormous and the attacks looked to be completely ineffectual.
She still held Amazon between her finger and thumb, and lifted the hundred foot tall super soldier up to her face. She laughed, not even bothering to taunt her captive. With her free hand she lazily swatted away jets that came too close. Glancing down at the city, her face contorted into a cruel sneer.
“Puny Americans! See what happens to your greatest heroes!”
