*Somewhat inspired by Village Of The Giants, although I’d like to do another retelling of that in the future.
The music cut out and the crowd fell silent. The gentle shaking of the ground was accompanied by the crunching of concrete and asphalt. From down the street towards the beach, huge shapes appeared out of the night, lit by the sulphur glow of the street lights. The sheriffs tried to calm people down, but there was a growing panic. The crowd looked upwards towards the faces of the giants. They were staring down at the festival crowd with amusement. A young woman with dirty blonde hair stepped forwards. She was wearing a green bikini that barely contained her jiggling boobs. As she bent over to address the crowd, everyone could see the flashing lights of a patrol car wedged tightly into her cleavage.
“Where did the music go? Turn it back up.”
From a patrol car a tinny voice came over the loudspeaker. It was Sheriff McClusky putting on his most authoritative voice.
“Ok now, you’ve had your fun, nobody here wants any trouble.”
“Oh Sheriff, we just came to have a good time. I think it’s you whose got the problem.”
“Now Lizzy, there’s no need for that, nobody’s against you.”
“Well that’s awful nice of you to say. You weren’t so nice when you ran into us yesterday were you? I wonder what could have changed? I don’t suppose it’s anything to do with the fact that I could step on your patrol car and turn it into a pancake is it? Or that I’ve got this one between my tits, and all I have to do is give it a little squeeze?” Lizzy gave her boobs a shake to emphasise the point.
“I’ve got my speaker Lizzy.” said one of the girls at the back, putting down a bluetooth speaker on the roof of a warehouse. It was the same size as the festival stage in the square.
“Well put on some tunes Kat!” said the male giant. “If these guys aren’t gonna DJ I think you should.”
“Well now Sheriff.” said Lizzy, straightening up and starting to sway to the music. “let’s have a little dance, I think this party is just getting started.”
