Thundering explosions sent plumes of burning gas and debris rushing against Lulu’s feet, calves, and knees, and then up into the air above the tops of the buildings. She smiled. She could hear the roar of the blasts, feel the shockwave, and even the immense heat, but she felt no pain or discomfort. Something that, even at this size, should have blown her body into a million pieces did little more than send a shiver across her pale skin. As she expanded upwards, her feet ploughed through the buildings on either side of the street, sending them crumbling to the ground.
Power surged through her body. Where she had been a spindly young woman, her body was now like a statue of a Greek god carved from marble. Every muscle quivered as wave after wave of ecstatic growth pulsed through her. She breathed in deeply and flexed, first striking a most muscular pose, bending forwards at the waist and bringing her arms together in front of her into a circle of power, before pulling them apart and raising them above her head in a double biceps pose. She shrieked with laughter.
Looking down, Lulu could see the streets choked with cars, trucks, and people, all trying to flee from her. The stampeding crowds moved like a swarm. She already saw them as lesser; saw them as nothing more than pathetic tiny creatures. Nothing to her strength and power. She had elevated to a higher plane of existence. Her body was an example to all of perfection; of what none of them could achieve. She was a titan, a god, she should rule this earth. Still she grew. She took a step forwards, buildings disintegrating against her foot and it came down on them, compressing to dust as she stepped down. There was nothing that could stand up to her.
