Optimum Realism R17
The 17th release of Optimum Realism is finally here, and I've some great news for you today.
Firstly, I know I'm very late this time on updating the texture pack, it's been almost 3 months since the update; I've been busy with a lot of personal stuff but I took time consistently for this project and here I finally bring you this release.
I'm also glad to tell you that because everything was taken slowly I was able to port all the blocks in this release to the Bedrock version too, unlike the previous 2-3 versions. So you'll have your hands on Optimum Realism R17 Bedrock Raytracing edition too!
Now let's leave the formalities and get to what's changed in this release:
Firstly, mossy stone bricks and stone bricks were reworked completely with respect to stone colour palettes in other stone/stone-based blocks.
The Netherite armour was added and was reworked greatly during the stages thanks to the amazing suggestions made on the Optimum Realism Discord Server and Shaderlabs.
Grass and grass-based blocks were all updated and reworked keeping the original base texture the same but improving the scale, color palette and PBR properties of the texture.
PBR properties of bricks were also improved.
Ender Chest was added to the game, with a special ender eye embedded in it.
Ender Pearl was added to the game.
The grass side was changed to match the new colour palette of the new grass block.
Connected Grass Ctm was updated to match with the grass.
PBR properties of all types of planks were improved.
PBR properties of some types of leaves were improved.
The colour tinting of the foilage and grass block was improved.
That's all, I know it doesn't feel much but these changes took a tremendous amount of thinking and work to be implemented.
