My smoothest implementation of a search yet, introducing the Phone Search mod.This adds an animated search bar to the phone and a dedicated search result view that includes the app icon each interaction belongs to.
I have no doubt this will be an essential mod for anyone with more than a few phone app mods. No more hunting for the right interaction, just type a partial match and it will show in the results!
Usage
Simply open your phone as you normally would and you'll find the search bar ready for use at the top of the phone screen.
UI Cheats Compatibility
There is a small overlap in UI Cheats and the phone search. They are compatible, but Phone Search has to be loaded first for the search to work. To ensure it does, the following is sufficient:
Make sure Tmex-PhoneSearch is at a higher folder level than UI Cheats
Or make sure UI Cheats is alphabetically after Tmex-PhoneSearch in the same folder (which it is by default)
If you do need to restructure, I recommend making a UI Cheats folder and keeping UI Cheats inside that. If Tmex-PhoneSearch is in the root folder or a folder starting with my username, it will work.
Install Instructions
Download the Tmex-PhoneSearch.package
Drag it into your mods folder.
Make sure mods are enabled in gameplay options. Restart if it wasn't.
