... The operating room was cold as a freezer and smelled like an industrial-grade chemical factory. Kitty was face-down on the table, looking less like a person and more like a high-end project mapped out in blue surgical ink. Those lines were a literal blueprint, a road map leading away from her "natural" past and straight into a new, artificial reality.
Anna was right there, gripping Kitty’s hand with a rare, low-key moment of actual support. For a second, she wasn't just a "bimbo-architect" pushing her agenda; she was the only anchor Kitty had left in this sea of sterile metal and sharp blades.
“Breathe, babe,” Anna murmured, her glossy lips curving into a smirk that was half-predatory, half-affectionate. “It’s a literal blink. You go under, and when you wake up—boom. New booty, new fit, and a whole new set of problems for every guy on the street.”
Anna leaned in, her voice dropping to a sharp, conspiratorial whisper. “Remember those ‘mosquito bite’ days? Yeah, that shit is officially ancient history. You survived being a nobody; this is just the final patch. You're finally leveling up to God-tier.”...
