It's been a while since I posted here and that's because I've been very busy after the Touhou 17.5 short. I opened up commissions and through that time, I've been finishing up some request. Also, since the TH17.5 short has been finished, I haven't had much in the way of posting. But I felt like I should update you guys on what is going on just to keep the Patreon page active. I know a lot of people are donating just to support the channel and the upcoming TH15 animated series, but I wanted to take some time to update my patrons.
I would like to start by thanking everyone who has donated to make this animated series a reality. The number of supporters has jumped up ever since the animated short has been released and the new tiers have been created. I was blown away by all the support I've been getting, and this truly made me believe that the TH15 animated series can really happen. I'll be trying my best to continue my work and make that a reality because it couldn't happen without you guys.
So let me updated my patrons about what is going to happen with Patreon in the near future. I'll be working on getting the TH15 teaser trailer ready. I still need to reach the first goal of $3000 in order to make that happen but the least I can do is just prepare for it and get ideas flowing. Even for a teaser trailer, there's so much work to do and I want to be ready when the goal has been reached.
As mentioned in the new tiers, the process for TH15 will be posted for Extra Stage Boss supporters while both Final and Extra Stage Boss supporters will get to see the completed teaser trailer early as well as a 4K upload without endslate after its YouTube release.
As for the original tier, now known as Stage 5 Boss, you will still get access to long form videos on a scene by scene basis, which right now is the Touhou 8 parody. At this time, I'm busy trying to get more supporters to the channel which means I have to concentrate on making more videos for the channel to attract them. That means that the Touhou 8 parody is on hold so there won't be much updates on that until I reach one of the many goals for the TH15 crowdfunding.
But I wanted to do something for the supporters of Stage 5 Boss at this time since I won't be working on long form videos. I also wanted to do something for the Free Members. There's not much in the way for those who are subscribing just to keep tabs on the Patreon page but I wanted to do something for them. Even just following the Patreon page is worthy of acknowledgement.
And that's when I decided on an idea I've had for a while. I have many ideas for videos that I sometimes don't know which one to make. I sometimes just go with whatever I feel like doing but lately I haven't been able to decide. That's when I had the idea of making a poll and having people vote for some of the video ideas I had. And that's what I decided to do as a Patreon perk for all supporters, including Free Members.
The latest video is about be uploaded tomorrow and after that I will make a poll for the next video. It will be fun to see what you guys want to see from one of many ideas I have for videos, so look forward to that.
