Hi! We're still chunking away at the Lotty's Adventure update and still don't have an exact date yet, but here are some goodies

Let's talk about the world structure of Lotty's Adventure!! The forest will essentially be the main area, with smaller offshoots and dungeons around it. My goal is to make progression feel horizontal rather than vertical, and if you don't know what that means, it's basically this:

Lotty's Adventure is built to be a sandbox where you collect side-grades rather than upgrades, meaning everything will have some kind of niche use. Most of the development efforts will be put into making a small/medium compact world rather than a large one, with events and other little things filling out previously empty rooms. There will also be more choices/immersive sim elements like the Jingles thing, it's just that they tend to be a bit more complicated to design compared to other features and may not pop up super often. They make the world feel more alive and that's pretty cool!

As for Rogue Princess, I think the plans are laid out pretty well in-game already. Besides wrapping up the WIP things I'll be adding more levels, CG scenes, dialogue etc. People seem to enjoy the dialogue so I'll be zeroing in on that! The Love stat will be changed up a bit since it wasn't functional anyways. It will be changed to Respect since I'd prefer Gale and Athena's romantic ventures being tied more to the narrative than a stat.Low Respect will earn you more teasing and humiliating stuff, and high Respect will earn you more.. respect! I will add a feature to force Respect back to 50 for those who want to start from scratch but don't want to start a new save.Anyways, after almost a year of doing this stuff I realized that consistency and a creative endeavor like this tend to go poorly together, so things like EARLY announcements of release dates will no longer happen. I very much wanted it to work, because if I'm the paying customer I would think that's a really nice feature! But alas, that's just how things are.The more frequent dev logs aren't taxing to keep a schedule with, so I'll continue doing those.I'll announce release dates a few days before the update comes out, and I'll still try to complete updates within a reasonable amount of time (2 - 6 weeks usually). I'll also do my best to be transparent about how the update's going when I can! Thanks for your support!
