Hi! I'm making this a double post since the stars aligned for a dev log at the same time as this releaseLotty's Adventure 0.441 Patch Notes
Added better debug options that you can access with the ENTER key after you enable debug mode via the orb in Lotty's house. This should make it easier for folks to catch up if there's changes like the challenge seed thing or saves get messed up
Most people who save edit already have this, but there's a new weapon you can play with via the debugger
Fixed various bugs like a startup crash and stuff like more bosses flying away
Guaranteed additions to the next Rogue Princess release:
Finishing the Love stat, starting with renaming it to Respect and having it determine how Athena interacts with Gale. If I run into time constraints, it may turn out very basic next release, but it will become more advanced over time. Regular conversations likely won't be affected by this mechanic
A handful of conversations that can be unlocked through doing certain things
Finishing the Preferences tab, it'll have a fun little feature I'll keep secret for now
Wish list (some may not be included next patch):
Work on the first few levels of the Tier 2 dungeon, along with a couple of challenge rooms
Add new enemies to said Tier 2 levels. I dunno how many, but 3 on a great dev cycle
Some more hotel CG scenes
Hopefully that kind of format doesn't leave room for many unkept promises in case something happens during development. Apologies for leaving Rogue Princess alone for so long, I wasn't feeling very inspired with it at the time!By the way, I'm moving at the end of the month! Things may slow down for.. maybe under a week around that time? Just to move in properly and unpack, get utilities and internet going, etc. I'll write up a post in case anything funky happens during the move.Anyways, see ya!
