Currently I sort out the folders by the variant produced, which then includes all of the resolutions.
For example:
I have the Mega Lab. That folder then contains 4 folders- the base, old, empty base and empty old folders. Each of those folders then contain all of the resolutions/UVTT files for that particular mapset. This is how I have done it for a very long time (and makes sense to me).
Alternatively, I could sort it like this:
Mega Lab folder. Inside that folder would be the following subfolders: Mega Lab 70 pixel, Mega Lab 100 pixel, Mega Lab 150 pixel, Mega Lab 256 pixel, Mega Lab UVTTs. Each of those folders would contain ALL of the variants- so the Mega Lab 70 pixel would break down to have the gridded and non-gridded 70 pixel variants of ALL of the versions of the mapset- old, empty, etc.
I can see the usage for each sort type. I would LOVE to have patron input on what would be better for you going forward. I'm striving to get things straightened up and cleaned up and just easier overall for you all.
