It's been no secret that I've not been able to create reliably. Most days I've been lucky to get a couple hours of sleep before the pain in my hands wakes me, much less make a map. It's affected my every day life and my job as well.
I've spent the last 6 weeks doing physical therapy on them. It hasn't helped. Friday I was discharged from physical therapy and am heading towards surgery. I'll be meeting with my GP on Monday for the referral and will schedule surgery on both wrists for CT for as soon as possible.
For that reason, I've paused billing on the patreon. It will remain paused until I've made it through my recovery period. Hopefully (with any luck) the doctor will be able to get me in ASAP.
I hate that I have to do this, but the doctor I'm going to be seeing for the surgery has a "new technique" that is supposed to drastically reduce the recovery time.
Thank you to everyone that has continued to support me and/or offered words of encouragement. I can't wait to be able to create maps for you all again- I have so many I want to make!
