They're eager to see you!
Kickoff piece for 2022 - I started work on this Hisuian Doggo way back in October 2021, but commissions caused the project to fall dormant.
For this model I decided to go back to using Rigify-rigs. I tried this back in summer 2021 before, but back then I found the complexity a bit too much to handle and most of the advanced controllers weren't useful to me. However, having built a number of rigs and mechanisms manually I feel like I'm now ready to return to using an auto-rigger.
The background is another exercise in using Blender 3.0's shiny new Geometry Nodes, and is almost completely procedurally generated. I also built a little system for the paws leaving an imprint in the snow.
There are both male and female cookie/spade variants as well as three different camera-angles (standard, side-view and closeup) making for a total of six versions.
In the attachment you will find for each variant:
- a lossless still-image 4K render
- two GIF renders (at 900x1200 and 1200x1600)
- high-fidelity video renders (h264/mp4) in three resolutions (1200x1600, 1440x1920 (1080p) and 2880x3840 (4k))
