When I had originally imagined Anna's confrontation with Doros, it was to have happened within Doros' own domain. Anna was going to come to Robin's rescue as what happened in the final version of the story, but then instead of Doros showing up, Anna was just going to send Robin home while Anna discussed matters with Mira and the rest of the faeries (in the earliest version, Mira and the shopkeeper faced the Shadowman alone, with no backup).
Following her chat with Mira and the others, Anna would have then used the backdoor key she got from Simon many chapters ago to enter Doros' realm unannounced (which is the original purpose of that key when I first wrote it into the story). She would have then hovered over Doros in Dragon form like she did with the Shopkeeper, boast that she had stolen all of his cats, taken all of his secrets from them, and demand he give release Robin but let her keep her powers. This Doros folded a bit more easily than the Doros we have here.
Anyhow, it looks like next week the other Faeries assembled are going to have a few words of their own for Doros!
