I made another new oc ahahaaaa but this time I actually thought up some things for him.
Darling is a witch who focuses on the art of necromancy. The way it works is not bringing people back from the dead, per se, but more communicating with spirits and using their energy to amplify his own magic. Witches in this universe dedicate their lives to their craft and he's spent a lot of time doing such where he's pretty comfortable using massive spells if he has enough spirits to conduct it. He lives in a cemetery in a city that has a record of having a mass amount dead spirits around. The cemetery itself doesn't have every person who's died there buried, as the number exceeds that and many of those spirits' bodies were either dug up in different places or not given graves at all. It's essentially a HUGE source for Darling but he uses spirits a little at a time so supply will last pretty long.
He's rather respectful to spirits and uses only the willing ones. His abilities can help put spirits to rest or they can latch onto any of his objects (maybe he also has tattoos that are haunted??) and they just provide small bits of their energy that way rather than wonder in between the realm of life and death. He tends to avoid more evil or malicious spirits unless he absolutely has to put them out of their misery. Darling can be a bit difficult to talk to as his focus is kind of all over the place, but he seems like a chill dude :>
