Hey everyone! Hatchet Games here again!Sorry for the silence, but we’ve been taking a well-earned break after all the stress that came with the last update. In the meantime, we’ve been reading all your feedback, and we’re really happy with how positively the update was received!
I’m genuinely proud to say that I finally achieved something I set out to do a long time ago: turning Elizabeth from the most hated character into one of the fan favorites in just a single update!
So, what’s next? Well we keep working on Maeve's Academy of course, just like we’ve been doing so far ;)
That said, we’re currently in a planning and brainstorming phase. As good as the Elizabeth Update was, it also came with a ton of stress and issues. We want to treat it as a learning experience, along with everything we learned from previous updates.
Because of that, we’re strongly leaning toward going back to shorter updates, around 3–4 months of development per update, without forcing ourselves to finish an entire arc from one update to the next.
On top of that, to avoid focusing on just one girl at a time, we’re considering adding NSFW scenes for other girls that can be replayed in sandbox mode, similar to what we did with Elizabeth in the last update.This wouldn’t be an issue, since it would happen while we’re still finishing their arcs, and it will all make narrative sense sooner or later. After all, the game is still a work in progress.
