I will divide the post into sections that way you know what it's going on, but for the momment let me show you the progress of the animation.
The clean team is REALLY FAST, so they are waiting for many shots to be done. particularly with the song, that scene will take some time with the clean up team.
ok time to talk about certain sections.
Part 1 : SCN 1 - 4
Most scenes are done! We are putting everything on Post production and checking for visual errors or mistakes.
With the song we are trying to decide colors for certain shots. It's been a whole monster seen everything it needs, I am happy with how it's looking. While I will NOT show you anything related to the song.. I could show you this which is not even 1% of it, It's funny tho.
With the backgrounds; We need the ending of the song to work on the bgs of scn4. This shouldn't happen with normal productions, but I decided to start working before having the entire preproduction (that includes the song and final fight) or we will take 2 years or a little bit more to finish this episode.
Part 2 : SCN 5 - 8
I will talk about the 3D work, since this part is close to be done, except for SCN 8. I am being very picky with it because it has my favorite character of this episode.
3D WORK
The map for the "Left 2 Doom" scene is done but we still taking some time with the models for the characters!! The next one is Susie
We think this scene will be the last thing we will work on the episode, to be sincere.
Probably your next question will be "What the 3D team is been doing?"
As much as you don't believe it; This is part of something we want to do for the episode, It is needed.
Part 3 & 4
Scn 9 is in a little limbo because the things that are left are part of my work. The idea was using a professional camera that I had to do it, sadly I can't find it, so everything will be moved to digital.
Scn 10 is mostly done but we need 5 shots with 3D, is reated to that Skid 64 gif
Scn 11 will take a while, maybe the same time as the 3D one.
Scn 13 will be worked slowly until scn 3 is done
Scn 14 is 2 shots to be done, probably this month the clean for this one and Scn 15 will be done.
THE REAL ENDING/ THE FUNNY ENDING
I didn't like it. It has a lot of hype for the next episodes but it doesn't have that "oomf" that I want, like a really good reason to say "this is a special ending" sooo we need to start form 0 with that. That 20% you see in the board is 0% now. The good thing is you might like it since you will see John's investigation table like in the last episode (the secrets)
We also want to add a funny ending for youtube and we want to make it. We know CERTAIN kind of fans will eat it like vultures.
