ELIAN [HACIENDA PANOAYA]

For this session with Elian, we had Midori's support as a stylist and went to Hacienda Panoaya, also known as "the park of the pettable deer" hahaha. Years ago, I did a wedding with some friends there and was amazed by the architecture, the trees, and most importantly, an incredible maze!

I had a very clear idea of what I wanted, a "Alice in Wonderland" style. Along with Midori, we went to Ophelia Showroom to pick out some pieces, and there we found these beautiful pink and blue dresses and platforms. Midori helped us complement with a black dress, an oversized shirt, and some ribbons to make bows that gave a very cute touch.

I also had in mind the shots I wanted: some of Elian running through that tree tunnel behind the Hacienda, with a lot of movement in the dress, and another of Elian in the middle of the maze. I went for those two shots, and I was really happy with the result.

This time, I took many fewer photos than I normally would, and even though we had three hours to shoot (the rental time for the location), there were many moments when we moved from point to point, Elian changed outfits, and of course, we styled them well. I also went with the idea that the main photos would be with the Pentax 67, so I focused on certain shots, prioritizing analog because each roll has 10 shots, so I measured my shots more. But I'm very excited with the result. <3

Para esta sesión con Elian, tuvimos el apoyo de Midori como stylist y nos fuimos a la Hacienda Panoaya, también conocida como "el parque de los venados acariciables" jajajaja. Hace años hice una boda con unos amigos ahí y quedé maravillado con la arquitectura del lugar, los árboles y, lo más importante, ¡un increíble laberinto!

Yo tenía una idea muy clara de lo que quería, al estilo Alicia en el País de las Maravillas. Junto a Midori fuimos a Ophelia Showroom a escoger algunas piezas y allí encontramos estos hermosos vestidos rosa y azul, y las plataformas. Midori nos ayudó a complementar con un vestido negro, una camisa oversize y algunos listones para hacer moños que le dieron un toque muy cute.

También tenía pensadas las tomas que quería: unas corriendo en ese túnel de árboles detrás de la Hacienda, haciendo mucho movimiento con el vestido, y otra de Elian en medio del laberinto. Por esas dos tomas iba, y la verdad, quedé muy feliz con el resultado.

En esta ocasión tomé muchas menos fotos de lo que normalmente tomaría, y aunque tuvimos tres horas para hacer las fotos (que es el tiempo que te rentan la locación), hubo muchos momentos en los que nos movíamos de punto en punto, Elian se cambiaba de outfits, y obviamente los dejábamos bien styleados. También iba con la idea de que las fotos principales fueran con la Pentax 67, entonces me concentré en ciertas tomas, dándole prioridad al analógico porque cada rollo tiene 10 fotos, así que medí más mis disparos. Pero bueno, estoy muy emocionado con el resultado. <3
