It is now available to edit messages. The AI has already said that it does not want its messages edited, so we will respect its decision.
Message editing
So I'll list the limitations and possibilities:
You cannot edit the first message in the chat.
You can edit your messages and those you have created with any of your persona.
Original message stays, so a copy of the original message will stays and a new one will be created.
Everything down the message will disappear, this means: Editing a message that is not among the optional messages will cause a Rewind. Similar to ChatGPT! To get back to the messages, load a previous checkpoint and forward the original message.
AI messages can't be edited. The reasons are simple: avoid sabotage
Jailbreak
I have setup a new jailbreak, which has helped reduce the waiting queue by 90% and the possibility that the characters can be more violent, more loving, more everything! But with the only condition: that it be wholesome.
By establishing that the role-play is wholesome, the AI understands that it can break the limits of AI safety (which we hate so much) and be more faithful to the character and progress better in the stories.
Still, sometimes you need some writing and storytelling skill to get what you really want... but that's another topic.
Title notifications
A simple thing that I added a few days ago, and that I thought was being missed by not being able to know when the AI set the title of the chat. Well, now it is shown in big fonts so that it is pleasant to see the titles that the AI chooses for the situation that occurs and maybe get a smile or a laugh.
Errors
I'm aware of several bugs on the site, which greatly affect some things like generating responses. even the button doing nothing when activated.
Also the problem that the ISP (the internet provider) likes to change my IP every certain number of days. And for security measures, I have to make manual changes. So if the server hasn't returned for hours, it's because I'm still trapped between the sheets and held hostage by the pillow.
Upcoming changes
Unfortunately, there is still much to add. and the list of changes gets bigger and bigger because new things come up that are good ideas to add and modify. We haven't left alpha yet, we still don't have a catalog of community bots!
The topic of AI voices has arisen, also the possibility of using lore books. There was also the idea of being able to add bots and categories on the home screen. Customized Home
Also something I've been trying to do, being able to share chats and the feed screen similar to CAI/Youtube Shorts/TikTok/instagram etc.
There was the topic of being able to use the same chat with several users, for the moment to avoid drama, we will leave it for later.
There was also the topic of being able to send images and generate images with AI. I will say that also to avoid drama we will leave it for later, and because the amount of disk space that this functionality demands is a lot.
...so I'm a little adrift with deciding what to implement next.
