The Doll Bank prototype I recently posted on Twitter is now available on Patreon, where you can view it from various angles.
I haven’t fully shown it yet, but I’ve actually been thinking about the setting and internal structure of this Doll Bank concept.
As for the name “Doll Bank,” it’s a play on the idea of a piggy bank.
In Japan, it’s kind of treated as a derivative concept of dollification (at least that’s how I see it). When trying to express that idea in English, “Piggy” didn’t quite feel right, so I decided to call it Doll Bank instead.
There’s a chance someone may have come up with the term before me.
If that’s the case, I’d honestly love to talk with them about it.
Lately I’ve been getting really into creating new variations branching off from dollification concepts like this.
I’m also thinking about revisiting the Save Point transformation idea that I prototyped about a year ago.

先日Twitterにて公開したdoll bankの試作をpatreon限定でさまざまな角度から見られるようにしました。
まだ表現はできていないのですが、このDoll Bankの設定というか内部構造は考えていたりします。
ちなみにDoll Bankという名前ですが、これは貯金箱の英訳「piggy bank」を文字ったものです。
日本の固め界隈では人形化の派生として名前が通っている(勝手にそう思っている)のでこれを英語で表現するにはそのままPiggyはちょっと違うかなと思い、Doll Bankと名付けました。
もしかしたら私より先にこの言葉を作った方がいらっしゃるかもしれませね。
もしいたら是非ともお話ししてみたいものです。
こんな感じで最近は人形化から派生した表現を作るのにちょっとハマってたりします。
1年ほど前に試作したセーブポイント化もまたやってみようかなと思っています。
