DESCRIPTION

Here's a preview of the upcoming update for Random Sim Fixes. This update adds body hair, filters out ugly/unfitting clothes townies often get and adds support for choosing custom hair color presets made in CAS for generated Sims

New Fixes

  • Fixed Sim voices incorrectly randomizing on age up to young adult or older.
  • Store Future CAS Parts are now filtered out as future clothing.
  • Removed green hair colors for randomly generated Sims.

New Features

  • Added body hair randomization for random Sims and Sims aging up to YA and older. Chances are tunable for each age.
  • Tuning value "kRunOnYAAgeUp" is now set to True by default, giving the mod a chance to re-roll body hair or beard on YA to Adult transition.
  • Inappropriate clothing will now be replaced when Sims age up or are generated. This is a currently non modifiable blacklist of costume items, hats, etc. That don't fit the home world or Sims in general but that are allowed for random by default, such as elf hats, cowboy/exporer outfits, etc.
  • Added "kUseDefaultHairColors" tuning option. When true, the default random hair colors will be included in the possibilities for random hair colors (Minus the vanilla green looking hair colors)
  • Added "kUseCustomHairColors" option. When true, any custom hair color presets saved in CAS will be included in the possibilities for random hair colors.

New Tuning

  • "kFilterInappropriateClothing" - Filter out unfitting/goofy clothes.
  • "kChanceBodyHairYA" - Chance of body hair for Sims generating or aging up to Young Adults.
  • "kChanceBodyHairAdult" - Chance of body hair for Sims generating or aging up to Adults.
  • "kChanceBodyHairElder" - Chance of body hair for Sims generating or aging up to Elders.
  • "kBodyHairChanceOnAgeUp" - Roll body hair on age up?
  • "kUseDefaultHairColors" - Include default random hair selection? (Minus green hair)
  • "kUseCustomHairColors" - Include custom hair color presets for random hair selection?

Installation

Choose your preferred flavor and Just drop the package into your "Documents/Sims 3/Mods/Packages" folder.

Won't take effect if you already have a core mod that fixes pudding faces - disable this feature in the core mod if possible to have this work.

You can modify the tuning with S3PE - inside of the package you can find a commented XML with all of the tuning values.

Flavors

Enjoy! I also apologize for the slowness lately. Uni started again, and I've been fairly busy with projects, both real life and Sims related.
