DESCRIPTION
We had a 5 day storm here in Maui with the loudest rain I've ever heard, flooding, houses being pushed off their foundation, etc. There was a break in the weather and this woman reached out to shoot before she flew back home to California. A fellow photographer friend recommended me to her. We met at her hostel, shot for an hour and then I took her to the airport. The stormy cloud coverage created the perfect lighting and dramatic beach setting. I'm kind of obsessed with these and I'm noticing how different they are from my usual work.
