“I certainly didn’t expect to be reshooting scenes for this movie right now, especially after you’ve sold it,” Julie commented idly as the crew around us finished preparing for the reshoots.
The crew this time was a professional one, the same one that would be shooting [Manchester by the Sea] in just a few days. As much as I wanted to shoot this myself and use the Harvard student crew, I couldn’t. I simply didn’t have the time to spare. As good as the film had turned out, it had taken numerous mistakes and retakes before the footage was usable. Some people from the student crew, like those responsible for continuity, were still part of this team, but aside from them, everyone else was new.
