Good afternoon Patrons!
I have a few bits to share with you this week from the sunny UK...
First up, Norwich Games Festival.
In the latest video, Jon mentioned the festival but got the date wrong (whoops!) . The festival runs from 23rd to 30th May (to coincide with school holidays) at The Forum, in partnership with Norwich University of the Arts. The festival is a celebration of all gaming, the gaming industry in the city and aims to inspire future generations.
Jon will be hosting the Social Gaming Lounge, where strangers can come together to play board games in a cosy space on Thursday 28th from 10am to 4pm. We hope the vibe will be similar to the gaming tent at Camp Wildfire that you may remember from previous videos. If you happen to be in the area, we would love to see you there!
Next up, UK Games Expo
Jon will be at the UK's biggest gaming convention from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st May at the Birmingham NEC arena. Frustratingly, it clashes with the Norwich Games Festival, so Jon will be making a speedy trip on Thursday night to be in Birmingham bright and early on Friday morning.
He is excited to bump into some of you there as he wonders the halls. He has no fixed plans to be in a certain place at a certain time so do say hello if you spot him in the crowds.
New exclusive video next week
We have filmed the next Patreon exclusive video, which is a debrief from HandyCon. It will detail all the games he played that weekend and what he thought of them. It's being edited now, so we hope to have that with you next week.

Finally, a special shout out to a beautiful folk musician in our our Patreon and board game community - Ben Moss. Ben has a new E.P out "Here We Will Dance". Jon and Ben met nine years ago through their shared love of board games and had the privilege of seeing him perform live last night in Norwich.
