DESCRIPTION
Officially, my longest piece yet. This took 40 hours, which makes the timelapse about an hour long! Crazy! This was insanely therapeutic to finish, and I'm so glad I had the chance to work on it. I learned a lot.
This is based on an original painting called "Meeting on the Turret Stairs" by Frederic William Burton in 1864. The story he made this painting about is a Danish tragic love story. I highly recommend you read up about it!! Thus, Lukas and Mathias became the perfect subjects for this painting. One day, I hope my work can look mature like the old classics, so I have a long way to go, but I really did enjoy this one.
